What are peoples plans for the off season?
Will the dogs see the outside of the runs for 9 months?

    Hi EPointer,

Well lets see whats on for the off season...

    1. I plan to rear 150-200 pheasants myself from broody and wild hens.
    2. Fox shooting will continue for the next 2-3 months.
    3. We have 6 Larsen traps that will need to be checked daily for magpies and grey crows.
    4. I have an 18 mo GWP that needs to be able to cross the Boyne and take directions to downed birds by Sept. He also needs to be trained to drop to shot and improve his deliveries to hand.
    5. Planning application should come through next week for my house extension.
    6. Golf season will be starting soon...

Oh and by the way, I am getting married in June.

Apart from all this, it should be fairly quiet around here...ha..ha..

Get the priorities right anyway, focus on the shooting activities. And if you can squeeze in a few days, I suppose the wedding as well! ;)
