    Hey guys and gals,
I’ve noticed lately a good few people have been talking about being unsure where to go with their photography or they’re just not pushed on taking photos at the moment. I’ve been meaning to write this for the past few weeks and finally got around to it this morning. I hope it helps some people around here and I’d love to hear if you have anything to add, just pop a comment on the blog. Also if theirs any way I could improve my blog posts in general I’d love your feedback.

    Inspirational photography Tips

Ruthlesly stolen from this months digital camera magazine, might help someone around here to get snapping away again!

    As quoted from the mag:

"10 ways to ... Take your photography further in 2009"

Take a photo holiday - not as much the trip itself but take your SRL out on a holiday and don't be afraid to use it.

Set yourself a project - as ambitious or small scale as you like e.g.: documenting the people you know, concentrate on one color for your shots, make a photobook, ...

Be More Critical of your own work.

Don't be fazed by failure it's a great way to improve

Work towards a distinction They recommend the RPS one, suppose there is an Irish alternative

Try a new genre - step away from your favourites and try something else

    Print More

    Study the work of other

    Join a photography club

    See how far you've come
    - Go back to your shots from 2008, put them in a digital libraby, and compare some of your earlier shots to newer one and check your evolution. Try to see what you could have done better (composition, exposure, shutter speed, ...) and try some of the photos again!

So, that's it, maybe some tips could be incorporated into your blog? (Some of them are already featured in there I am aware of that :))
