Otrivine nasal drops

    Hi,

This might sound ridiculous but I am addicted to Otrivine Nasal drops. I have used them continuosly everyday for the past 11 years. I first used them when I was about 12 but not frequently and a couple of years later I started to use them alot more. I now use them approx. 8-12 times a day every single day and I cannot be anywhere without them.

I know it's only something small, but I'd like to be able to stop using them. It's just if I don't use them for afew hours I can't get air in through my nostrils :pac: and I'm breathing through my mouth only and it's really horrible. I don't have trouble with mucus, it's just nasal passage are narrow. I went to ent before. He said the structure of my nose was fine. I could have an operation but it would most probably be unsuccessful.

Any advice, medical people only, please.

We can't give out medical advice on here.

This is just a forum for discussion of general medical topics.

Sorry to hear about your problems, and I hope you get sorted.

But your best bet by a long way is to seek medical help for this.

    Hope you get sorted :D
