    Hello,

I am looking into getting the above rifle but when I was browsing the web for different prices and I came up with a problem. There are two places where I am considering getting it from: Eirsoft for €190 but the I saw this for €40 cheaper. I was wondering if these are the same sniper rifles as the IAS one is a considerable amount cheaper than Eirsoft's.

    Thanks

I have no idea how that one slipped by. No matter.
Also is this more accurate than the l96?

They must have forgot to deactivate the store portion of their website, but if you visit http://irishairsoftsupplies.ie/ you'll see a "This website is off line" message.

    Theres one available from poland.

No vat as its in the EU, don't know how much shipping is but if its less than 70€ you're saving some money.

You'll lose the aftersales support and convenience or repair or returns you get here, but theres another option for you.

Its also hot out of the box. Part of the price difference you pay in this country is the cost of getting them downgraded at source.

Depends on the gun, and the quantity.

    dude

    my advice is this
if you have to ask for advice go to `eirsoft.ie or (the shop that cannot be named) or cork airsoft shop or airsofteire.com

cos they won't mess you about

poland is grand once you know yer stuff

Thanks for the advice Tigger, I am going to stick with Eirsoft as I have dealt with them a few times in the past and they are the best in terms of everything.

...and they wouldnt d'grade a jg bar10 I bought from them in 2007. They wouldnt even consider it. Ended up buying a spring and doing it myself. First and last rifle I bought from abroad. Bought Irish ever since and wouldnt consider abroad again for AEG's or rifles.

Best to buy local and get the backup that the likes of Eirsoft provide.

Actually Gunfire are good for customer service. I got a broken MP40 in a package, mailed them a single, basic picture showing the damage and they sent me a brand new one in my next order without a single question. Got to keep the broken one which is 100% aesthetically fine, so makes a cool wall hanger. :)

They have awesome prices on AEG's and snipers but they're all hot apart from some of the smaller subs like the scorpion etc. One or two ones are actually within the limit eg. the JG AK Spetznaz is only 95 euro and 320fps. Postage is pretty good. I've got 15kg packages delivered for 35 euro - not bad considering its coming via courier from eastern Europe, not to mention in packages that size you've saving hugely on Irish retail prices.

Hard to fault them really. They even have a points back scheme, where every purchase earns points. I have enough points to claim a clone AEG and only pay for postage for example. :)

Sorry if that sounds like an advert but they really are hands down the best retailer I've used.

How can it be that bad? Coffee is a piece of piss to make, 2 spoons of nescafe, 1 spoon sugar. If you can't manage that then I would love to see you make a hot chocolate

None of that cheap instant crap in Eirsoft ! Fresh brewed coffee every time !

And don't mind Doc - he makes great coffee. Alex taught him well ;-)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 951 ✭✭✭MiniNukinfuts

Well, either way, I don't drink coffee, so if I do get offered a cup I might just have to decline.
Nescafe isn't that cheap instant crap, I would believe that cheap instant crap would be this.

Whats a bar 10 like compared to a tm g spec

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 1,147 ✭✭✭skyhighflyer

Speaking of the Bar 10, I dropped into Hobby Airsoft again the other day on the way to Carlow and the chap running it reckons he has the same gun called a Black Eagle with a 4 x 40 scope and metal bipod for €125. I was wondering did anyone else on here see this and, if so, what did they make of it? Same gun?

The gun he has is probably a Black Eagle M6, it's like a Steyr SSG, no

comparison to a JG BAR 10 really. Body shape is different, it's lighter and not

as good as the BAR 10.

BAR 10 is the best entry level sniper rifle out there. its sturdy, light, accurate, powerful and its fully compatible with the whole range of TM VSR parts out there so theres no end to what you can do with it., :)

The TM VSR 10 and only €40 more than the JG clone.
