can we stop these best of threads, they bring nothing but elitism out in us all.

gets a bit boring after a while.

I only ever check these kind of threads to see if there's bands I haven't heard of, especially ones that aren't already, like, the hugest ****ing bands in the world. Is there any sense in debating whether the Killers are better than Bloc Party or the Kooks or any of that nonsense?

Not indie anyway. They sound like they wish they were Aerosmith.

These guys are total classic rock, according to wikipedia they formed over a love of AC/DC... I doubt Nirvana even entered their minds :)

I wouldnt have thinking AC/DC to be honest but as I said I only heard one album.

I only listened to 3 songs, I gathered the AC/DC thing from Wikipedia.

Though funnily enough, for Bleach, Kurt's quoted as saying Sub Pop wanted them to make the music sound rocky, specifically like Aerosmith. I never was a huge Nirvana fan...
