Why is one of these photos good and the other two rubbish?

The bad ones were taken by two different people with different equipment etc. One is obviously taken by a pro but what did the pro do differently to the amateur? I know there not well focused but there is just something about the pro one. I suppose it's just multiple things that came together to make it a top photo is it? I'd be interested in what people think those things are.

I was going to reply to this thread, but you've posted tiny images, with links to imageshack and I find it all quite annoying.
I don't want to have to have 4 browser tabs open, just to view one thread properly.

Fair enough so. I think the boards way of attaching images is more annoying because at least with imageshack you get a little preview and you still need to open 4 tabs.

Just as I write this though I think flickr or photobucket is better - it must be these services you are referring to. I might sign up with them. Sorry about that!

I'm like you though in that I hate the hassle and tedious aspect of opening up new tabs and stuff - will need to setup one of those accounts.

    Whats wrong with doing this.....

Just right click on the image(PC) and choose properties. Then grab the URL from there.
