19" Rack Unit design...

All my supplies have finally arrived for me to start building my new 19" Rack unit.. I was going to get started tonight, and cant decide on a couple of things..

Any input appreciated... even if it's "stop procrastinating and start building"

It's a ~30 unit box (1m length of rack strips), which will sit beside my desk which has Screen, pc, drum machine, mouse, keyboard and monitors on it..

Regarding the 18ch firewire mixer into the PC.. would you
a) mount on top of the rack box (I have 6u rack strips for this)
b) Mount vertically at the front of the units (using about 8u of the 30u available)
c) not mount, and leave on the desk

Regarding the front of the 30u rack, would you
a) Leave completely vertical
b) put a gentle slope from the bottom to the top, so the top sits about 3-4 inches further back

Anything else you would put into the unit if you were building it?

I've decided... I'm procrastinating..

I will mount the mixer, and no slope at the front.. Now where's me powertools
