Perfect timing for the 2012 games and hopefully Taylor
is there with the lads going for GOLD!

The expected decision on Females competing in London 2012 is
    Oct this year!

The worlds would be money well spent. I'd certainly pay a few quid for finals night!

    That would be wonderful.

Not just for the boxing fans in Ireland, but for the Irish boxers themselves as it would boost their Olympic qualifying chances and with the way Irish boxing is headed we could well get a few medals !!

that would be great, i'd get a few lads to head in for that.

Rush Boxing club and Rush Martial Arts head coach.

I saw many clips of the Europeans on Channel 4 the other night.
It looked weird; just like any normal run of the mill show.

I have seen far better atmospheres in the National Stadium.

The boxing of course was top notch; but the venue and atmosphere
    was pretty ordinary!

England did well with Luke Campbell winning gold at 54 kgs.
First Englishman to win a European gold in 47 years!

    Yeah, remarkably cheap.
At the Belfast Worlds in 2001 I got a front row ticket for the entire championship for a mere £50st !!! I nearly didn't believe the girl on the phone when she told me first. I kept asking her was she sure that wasn't the price per day !!

Hopefully, the rip-off culture won't dig it's ugly claws in if it comes to Dublin.

roughly In what range do you guys think tickets to this will be?

Mate, if I knew that I'd be a rich man. With all this doom and gloom and recession etc; who knows. I'd say for finals day, anywhere between 30 and 50 Euro. Depends on demand and depends on whether a real star emerges on the scene between now and then!

It was £15 for all seats in the stadium except the floor which was tables with dinner and wine service and black tie and tables of ten were £1100 - still cheap.

The place was devoid of atomosphere.

Maybe it was something to do with the dinner and wine service?
