    Hi ,

I was wondering does any one have UPC BB in Newbridge ?
I checked on the UPC website and it gave me all the green Ticks so i rang up only to be told its only available in some parts of Newbridge, The lady said there is plans to upgrade it further in Newbridge but did not have a clue of timescales.

At present i am paying for BT's option 3 €60 something a month it works out as with VAT and during peek times im only getting 200-500Kb downloads and about 200kb uploads

I have been onto BT's technical help and they are looking into it.

I used to have UPC 20Mb in knocklyon and its like going back to the dark ages using the BT service

Suprised it is not is Kilbelin Abbey. Not far from town centre at all. It is available in Standhouse road but need to find a neighbour with UPC to see if service is reliable in area.

Does any one who or what department you would have to contact to try and push for the service ?

I'm in Kilbelan Park and have been told that it's available here... I did an online app but have heard nothing back so will be calling them to progress. Will let you know how I get on.

(UPC/NTL cables are still in the house too, from the previous occupant)

I'm on the station rd in Newbridge beside the Tec school. UPC said it's too much hassle to bother upgrading our road. Worthless ****ers.
