Social Welfare officer... should have good job security there.

    Or speed camera engineer.

Sure you're suppose to pick a career you have an aptitude for, something you like. So find some career where writing shite on the internet is involved :p Product reviewer for some magazine.

No point in going into politics, sure we're handing over Ireland to the Eurocrats.

It'll be four years before decent jobs appear again.

when you leave school? when I get made redundant in a few months time, more like - it could be worse though.

I would suggest you try to get some bar experience, it's something you will always have.

or if college is not an option and you do end up on the dole, do every FAS course you can. it is easy to get into a routine if you are unemployed.

Eh, become a ninja binman, of course!

Being a binman in Tipperary (depending on where in Tipperary you're from) isn't necessarily a difficult thing. One of the largest municipal landfill sites in Munster (which is now a remarkably smelly hill) is near Tipperary Town.

There's nothing quite like the smell of methane in your bedroom on an icy morning when the wind is just right!

If you have the brains for the Scientific Sector & you/your parents can afford it, enjoy your summer & head to college (bar work is a handy part time job in collage)

If it is "alternative" medicine you are after, well as Chef in Southpark said
"there is a time and a place for everything, and its called college"
