I have bought 4 tickets to see the Ireland V Scotland game, I bought them last year from the Sctland rugby website. I noticed today that there are a few tickets for the game being sold on ebay and that the sellers are saying they have the tickets in hand, yet mine havent been dilevered yet. Has anyone else purchased tickets for this game and had their tickets delivered to them yet or are waiting for them to be delivered??? Thanks in advance

My tickets for the game arrived about 2 weeks ago. I do live in Glasgow though.

The SRU won't deliver tickets to Ireland, they only deliver to UK addresses. You have to pick them up over there. The ticket office is on the right as you come down to the stadium on Roseburn Street. It is a prefab, or at least it was 2 years ago. It is signposted anyway.

What would be the situation if you're unable to attend but give them to a mate who wants to go?

Presumably, you'd have to give your friend your credit card.

Yes, that seems to be the situation. It is not entirely satisfactory but there you go... they are pretty much the only union which puts tickets on general sale so we can't complain too much. I've had a fair bit of e-mail contact with the ticket office there over the years and they are very decent - if you are very stuck send them an e-mail.
