    Hi!
Im looking at booking a house for a w/e away with a few friends in wexford. Have seen a few suitable places in the Gorey or courtown or Kilmuckridge area. Just wondering where would be best to go that would have a few lively pubs and possibly a nite club at this time of year? Thanks

steer clear of courtown mate unless you wanna just rent the gaf somewhere out there and party in gorey. pubs wise there's plenty but clubs in gorey just these cold nights lately there do be **** all people out,but anyway you have 02 which is above Oscars at the top of the town, its free in on thursday nites and pay in friday and saturday nite, also there's the Mezz which is open late and above that is Club Jupiter which would probably be a better choice,at the weekends your bound to have a good time and see the place's lively enough.
pm me for any info if you want

Gorey for the pubs alright but bear Courtown in mind for daytime crazy golf. Its unreal and reminded me of the crystal maze.

Cool thanks for the replies. Though how far is courtown from gorey?Just as cant seem to find much in the line of holiday homes for short rent there but lots in courtown.Do u know of any apartments or holiday homes in gorey town that would make it easier for going out to the pub in the evening if we are located in the town. Thanks

    Hey!

Your best bet by far is to go out in gorey, courtown is just outside the town so you will have no problem getting a taxi for €10-€15. if you stay in courtown you will have the benefit of walks on the beach to clear the heads and the gym, swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna etc in the forest park leisure centre(No membership needed). You will also be near enough to gorey to go shopping etc

Luna rossa restaurant is a good place to start the evening with dinner then on to either paddy blues(kind of disco bar ish), oscars or the mezz bar. Both oscars and the mezz have nightclubs upstairs, (O2 and jupiter).
Finish the night with the best chips in wexford~Sorrentos~!!:D

Let me kno if you need phone numbers for cabs, restaurant etc!

    Enjoy your stay!

Amber Springs Hotel is lovely in Gorey, has spa and pool etc

Just stayed in Seafield hotel near Courtown and it was just majestic. The best nite place was Paddy Blues, no scangers there unlike a few others. And the food in the Coach house and Carousel restaurant was the best we had, particularly the restaurant. In the bar the eggs benedict was to die for. Yum.
