Looking for Maths Grinds

I failed Basic Maths by 1% last year so I'm carrying it over to repeat at the end of this term. Trouble is, I haven't had much time to spend on the subject and the way my timetable falls this semester means that it clashes with the Basic Mathematics module that the first years are doing.

I'd imagine the standard is that of the lower-echelons of HL Maths and while I have no doubt that I should be able to fly through it, I'd prefer to be familiar with the material.

If anyone offers any grinds or tutorials, pm me with your rates and I'm sure we can work something out.

What sort of matematical topics are you looking for grinds in? I might be able to help if you let me know.

I would have thought you had enough on your plate without doing grinds also :P

I can recommend a few people if you are interested, there either lecturers or postgrads. If you are registered with CHART you get them for free IIRC.

I can give you a basic forum rules grind now,

trolling + continous trolling = forum ban.

    mods; act as appropraite.

Failing by 1% means that you got 61% of the paper wrong. Or did you get 34%, 1% off passing by compensation whereby you got 66% of the paper wrong?

Lets avoid publicly talking about how great/poor he did. I personally think that's private and really isn't the topic here.

If you have any recommendations or want to help him out yourself, fell free to plug yourself here. :) Id recommend Dan, as he has personally helped me with my maths which being honest - I do very poorly in. Its without a doubt my weakest subject. He has great notes and sometimes has the patience of a saint.

Other then that, contact me for lecturers/post grads who have helped me out over the last two years.

well actually Dan i would have thought the keen maths student would get what I'm saying, 1+1 =1 as in

    true and true = true
    binary truth tables

I cant believe you gave me a warning for that kev, I wasn't trying to stir s**t, I was trying to get a nice mathematical convo going.

@AdMMM, post a list of the topics so that we can access weather or not we can help you

well the student in question doesn't study binary as part of a business course so i find that information irrelevant and derailing to the topic at hand.

I'm really not in the mood for petty squabbles.
The sad thing is, I actually got that straight away :S.
