Bertie was ranting and raving yesterday in the Independent. Can't find the original story online.

Big Bertie believes that the ordinary people were the cause of this current crisis. "greed and excess" was his opinion. And what is more, we all need to accept higher taxes to "dig us uot of this hole".

Could he stoop any lower. This Bertie resigned in disgrace, he has married one daughter to a millionaire singer, another has had money thrown at her for writing. Cecilia "oh, I done the rounds with the publishing houses" Interviewer "how many did you see" Cecilia "oh, the first one took me on, actually".


So the ordinary man, with a wife and children, paying a massive mortgage will have to bend over, because HE was greedy.

This man is a joke.

And another thing, did anyone notice that Old Barack was also calling out for the people to accept the burden, as was Gordy Brown. Coincidence?

he is right to an extent, there only so much damage a gang of bad acting millionaires ( who reprasent about 2-10% of our population ) can do


sadly it is the normaly to upper middle class who upgraded to a new bmw, got the gaf re-done and had kids, its mostly our/their fault...
