    Hi All,

Im hoping someone can help me, getting married in 2010 and have been looking around at photographers and their prices, its crazy what im being quoted....:eek: I do understand photographers put in alot of time and effort, but some prices are way out there....I live in the north west of Ireland! I was wondering does anyone know where, if I sent my professional photos on CD for example, they could make me a storeybook wedding album a bit cheaper than the prices I have been quoted?? Thanks....:)

Hi there, is this what you mean?

    http://www.photobox.ie/shop/photo-books

FYI, I'll be using the photographer David McClelland, he does a package for 1,500 where you get your photos on DVD with reproduction right, a story book, and a print of you 50 favourite photos at 10" by 8". I really like the look of his work, and he is very pleasant to deal with. Let me know if you'd like his contact details...

www.blurb.com - the best by far. Really easy to use software too ... and the prices are very reasonable.

I've seen the finished article, and it's really high quality ...

Hi bensoneb, that's good to know that you were pleased with his work. What I liked about his albums is that he had none of those photos that are mainly black and white but with say the bouquet of flowers coloured in red. Not really into that, and was glad to see he had no such photos in his collection! Good luck!

from a photographers point of view, most of us HATE those selective colour shots, they are a terrible hangup from the 80's but for some reason people still keep asking for them
