Tomtom 520 map update

Hi Guys, I'm new to sat nav stuff and just a quick question on map update. If I buy a Tomtom 520, any chance I can still update the map to the latest? or its service has been disconnected as 530/540 are out there. Thanks :o

Is it a new 520 or 2nd hand?

Nothing to stop you updating the maps, but if it is a new unit, you will have latest map guarantee which means you download the latest map free within 30 days of first use of the device.
