Am thinking of going to Malta in July with a 3 year old. We are in our 30s so while we don't want a mad holiday, does anyone know -
is it a country worth visiting, and if so what part?
what areas are good to go with a child
an area that has restaurants and stuff to see that is not too quite or limited at night

    Thanks

malta is nice, its stupidly built up though and public transport on the island (old buses) are sloooow :(

valletta is the biggest town and the central hub for the buses, is very lively during the day but after 6pm it gets pretty dead. St Julians a few miles north of valetta is where you will find things to do at night, there is a casino in the hilton there, there is plenty of restaurants and bars in st julians too

it also depends on when you go, Valletta carnival takes places this year between Fri Feb 20th and Tues Feb 24th, its fun of floats, dancers and just good fun
