As a student of thai boxing in cork. i have seen after being to many shows that fighters from athony <cork thai boxing> and martins <siam warriors> do not fight in craigs shows and like wise craigs fighters do not fight in their shows. And also there are clubs up the country do they same thing. i have heard that some on in the IMC and dont fight with anybody outside the IMC. why dont all clubs the cork clubs join the IMC and there could be bigger shows with a wider range of fighters and thus uping the standard of thai boxing in cork. Now im sure there maybe some history behind this so lets keep it nice and have a frank talk about this

Hi David Cork, if that it your real name. Politics exist wherever humans do. Martial arts is oft touted as a prime example of how politics goes wrong, but you will find it applied in every sport.
I used to raise the same questions about Taekwondo as you do about Thai Boxing; it would be great if everyone could work together, but that is just not human nature. Until the United Federation of Planets saves us from our baser human behaviours I am afraid things will be as they are.
