Artist Daniel LuVisi posted tryout concept art for the movie adaptation of the zombie saga World War Z. It's a veritable Where's Waldo of splattered zombie carnage, mutilated New Yorkers, and other hidden gems.

This gorgeously gory work created by the incredibly gifted concept artist and production designer LuVisi, was put together as a try-out to secure his role in Marc Forester's World War Z. Titled "The Battle Of Yonkers," the piece showcases how seriously LuVisi is taking his work. There are millions of details, from the camera crew to the red tape wrapped around one soldier's piece

Nice I like the soldiers in the full NBC gear with the journalist in pretty standard attire.

That is pretty awesome. Good find.
Have to say that the "Battle at Yonkers," was one of my favourite chapters in the book and am heartily looking forward to the film scene.

    Loving the pictures, thanks!

I didn't quite imagine that every Z would be quite so de-composed, though!

    Still though, great artwork! :D

If properly realized, the Battle of Yonkers scene in the movie will blow off the heads of every motherf***er watching. Which would be ironic, as we can then just show the scene to real zombies and defeat them when the real zombie apocalypse happens. Our only hope is that the zombie uprising is after World War Z comes out!

If the movie looks anything like this I may just have an orgasm while watching it. :pac::pac::pac::pac:

Why are most of the zombies bald? i didn't realise exposure to solanum caused hair loss, Max must skiped over that lil fact. Still, it'll make it easier to kill just zombies, old people and Hari Chrisnas when Z Day comes!

I think that there's plenty of scope for really good artwork from World War Z - take for example the "Zombie proof" town in Arizona or the submarine hunting submerged Zombies.

id love to see a 2 or 3 part movie based on this book, im sure they could pull it off, id like to see russian part where they bombed the bridge with gas, also the chick in the swamp was a good chapter

if the film is only based on the battle of yonkers id hazzard a guess that it wont be to well recieved in the US as it was a military loss and we all know how americans like to win lol
