Hi,

Im headin to thailand in may/june for 3 weeks but am a bit unsure as to where the best islands would be to visit? not looking for the party scene or over crowded islands...mainly just for chillin out,i have been reading some very mixed reviews on ko samui but it seems like a good base for at least a week because of surrounding islands,day trips etc...is phi phi worth a visit? seems nice and been reading good reviews...oh yes and will there be plenty of sun around the time we are going? any opinions would be great...

samui is nice, worth a few days, even when it gets busy you can always find parts of the island that are very quiet.
would recommend ko chang, not overly touristy, but enough nitelife if you want, and still parts that are pretty isolated and deserted so plently of places to chill. a short speed boat ride away is ko mak if you really want the quiet life.
wouldn't like to speculate on the weather.
plenty of info here as someone else said.
