    Strip Steve Bio

Like any cool kid of the 90's, Strip Steve grew up with the Offspring, skateboarding, and playing around on his decks. A few scratches and a failured a rap band down the line, he remembers how much Armand Van Helden, Modjo and Daft Punk's videos that he used to watch before "Yo MTV rap" kick-started his passion and obsession with electronic music.

He started mixing at 14 and slowly organized parties with his friends in his hometown (Bordeaux). They mixed every kind of music they found exciting, with one very simple purpose: that the people had fun.

2008, Steve is now 21 and listens mostly to House and Techno. Inspired by the masters DJ Sneak and Paul Johnson, as well as listening to the Crydamoure compilations, expect a set filled with crashing Chicago House classics (Robert Armani, Dj Pierre, Marshall Jefferson, Armando…), more recent Techno Anthems (Boys Noize, the french record labels Institubes & Ed Banger, Switch, Steve Angello...), early 90's Rave Ufos (he has a fascination with the Prodigy & Bizarre Inc.) or the best 12" electronic music around (Masters at Work, Romanthony, Daft Punk, LFO, Joey Beltram...).

With a very strong Techno culture and a very obvious talent, Steve didn't wait long before he distinguished himself along from the Myspace crowd. His exstatic and pumping productions put him in the lightspots of the electronic music lovers and now signed on Boys Noize Records, his productions breaks the floor of every club his playing at.
