Office 2007 Issue

    Hey There,

I recently upgraded to office 2007. I attempted to use the facility Microsoft Offfice document imaging. It seemed to work perfectly with my HP scanner.

When I run the Recognise text using ocr, thats runs, and when I attempt to send text to word, the following message appears "an error occured when trying to send text to word, please verify word is installed properly".

Word is installed and working fine. I ran a repair which did not resolve the issue and I fully removed office and reinstalled it, but the same issue occurs.

This worked fine using 2003. Anyone got any ideas please ??

Looks like Document Imaging is an optional install item, and may not have been updated by default.

Go to Add/Remove Programs, click Change and Add Features. Of course your milage may vary depending on which version of Office 2007 you have.

I ensured to install all components of office enterprise, did the customised install, so document imaging is fully installed nand fuctioning apart from the option "send text to word", under the tools menu. Thats when the error described above appears.

Its a real tricky one to resolve.
