New Bike & New Wheels Advice

    Hi All,

Looking for some feedback on a new bike I'm considering. The Giant TCR Advanced 2 (http://www.cyclesuperstore.ie/shop/pc/viewPrd.asp?idcategory=35&idproduct=23625). The bike has got good reviews. The price looks ok for the spec (without spending 5k+). I would consider an aero wheel upgrade, because I will compete in a few tri's in the summer, but don't want a tri specific bike. What is feedback on Shimano Dura-Ace 7850 50mm, Mavic Cosmic Carbone SLR or Zipp 404.

    Thank you in advance.

Whats you're level of bike fitness?
No point in splashing the cash on "race wheels" when the engine is lacking.

if i had the money i'd go for either the zipps or shimano wheels but only if i had earned them, as tunney is getting at (very jealous you can go out and buy this setup!). Mr. Skeffington is the lucky owner of the same bike, but with some nice upgrades.

overall super looking bike, and very light.

Tubular or clincher? And I presume that you're keeping the wheels that come with the bike as training wheels? Having carbon rims as your only wheelset is expensive and impractical.

    Thanks guys.
I have this already ( http://www.adverts.ie/showproduct.php?product=84751&cat=all ) but it is now not for sale. It is on campag shamal ultra. The aero wheels would be nice, but pocket may rule. The TCR with Shamal Ultra's would also be good I think. I would keep the Askiums as spares. I am more interested on Giant TCR Advanced feedback. Wheels would be clinchers.
