    Anyone know about this scheme to replace driving to work with cycling. I believe you are entitled to a grant on a new bike

    You pick bike (up to €1k)
    Employer buys it for you (and must be satisfied that it is for you to commute etc).
    Employer takes the money directly from your paychecks and you avoid paying tax on it. E.g paycheck of 3k per month less 50 euro per month towards bike, you only pay tax on 2950
