    Hi guys,

Ive booked a holiday for this Saturday and im going to Les Deux Alpes - cant wait :D
But 2 mate were considering getting a last minute deal if he could get off work - but availability seems short in L2A's - but there are some for Alpes d'Huez.
Think i read somewhere that its only 6/7 km between the two - can anyone confirm? Is one of the resorts on side of the mountain and the other on the opposite side and would the ski pass be for the same area? What im getting at is we could meet at the top in the mornings and it wouldnt be too expensive getting a taxi home at night after a few pints!!

could be wrong but im pretty sure if you have an Alpe d'Huez ski pass it works in Les Deux Alpes. I think its a short bus ride between the 2.

Hi Curran, just had a look at the transisere.fr site, and I got an example of 1hr 30 between the two. This may well be right as you would have to drive all the down to the main valley and all the way up the other side.

    Hi Curran,

How did you get on in L2A, going there tomorrow week with 6 lads for snowbaording for the first time. What are the bars and restaurants like.
I have heard a few reports that the beer is very expensive, if true did you find any cheap bars to go to.
