Try rolta.co.uk and see if you can get a replacement screen there. If not your best bet would probably be ebay for a second hand one. If you have a friend who is pretty competent with computers then ask him to do it and buy him a few pints in the pub after if not then you'll have to find a repair shop to fit it. Find out how much it'll cost to get it installed before buying the screen and decide if it's worth it.

Theres some guy on adverts.ie in the computer parts wanted section who gathers up old laptop parts. He might of aquired the screen your looking for over the past while. You might be able to get a 2nd/3rd hand screen that way and save yourself a few quid.

    That or Ebay and DIY.

I'm literally just after replacing a screen for a client!

The panel of the screen itself is not repairable. You need a replacement.

Ebay is your best bet. Often (most of the time) it will be a US seller, for some reason LCD screens are easier to source there. Just bang in your laptop model number.
Just remember customs may nab the package, adding 30% to the total price (VAT, duty and handling)

They're not hard to replace, but you have to be gentle and take your time.
