Install WLAN drivers for my laptop on Linux Live CD

Hi Folks,

I have been playing around with a few Linux Live CDs and my LAN is working fine however I can't seem to get my WLAN working.

Laptop is HP Compaq NC6220.

Can I download and install drivers for my WLAN on a Live CD?

If so, is there a walkthrough available on how this can be achieved?

Any help is appreciated

I dont have Ubuntu but I'll take a look and see what happens

Just looked up your laptop model. I saw your WLAN card is made by broadcom. The latest ubuntu should support it.

http://ie.releases.ubuntu.com/intrepid/ubuntu-8.10-desktop-i386.iso

If it doesn't, post back here and we will help you out.
