How Many Tables

Just wanna get a feel for what are poeples thoughts on this.

I ve read that any more then 4 stunts your growth in bettering your poker skills.

However i find that i am prone to tilt and boredom when i play 4. I play anything up to 12 but this is on autopilot and reads are pretty non existent and i rely on the hud.



For long term improvement should i play 4?

I play 5 or 6 at a time at the most. Ive tried 9 before and couldnt keep up tbh so 6 is the max for me. If you're not comfortable with the amount of tables you're playing obv reduce accordingly.

5-6 tables of six max is what I can handle with HUD With a reasonable monitor

w/o Hud i'd be lost trying to play 6 tables

I have done 12. Mostly i like to keep it anywhere between 6-9. When im feeling im not 100% ill do 2-4. id get awful borred with just 1.

9 is my prefered number .. I can play 16 if necessary at a reduced win rate but only do it for clearing a bonus or rakeback at the end of a month or something

I go with six, partly because I am comfortable with this set-up and partly because my monitor has its limitations.

2 on my laptop while watching TV, 4 often and 6 on my 22" desktop screen rarely...let myself get distracted by the TV in the other room too much!

5 or 6 is my general number, I can go to 8 but that's about as much as I can do and I don't enjoy it as much

I've played up to 12 at different periods. But after a while I discovered that my optimal number is 4 @ 6 max. So, thats generally what I stick to.

obv the more tables u play at once the more robotic u play and ur not making reads etc. defo not good for developing ur game. but it boils down to what ur trying to achieve online, develop ur game or maximise ur winrate.

between 2 and 4 depending, can do 6 but dont enjoy it at all

Mine was about 23/17 when I was playing 6max.
