    Hi All,

Fecking pot hole damaged the rim of one of the wheels on my car today. I am getting it changed tomorrow and was wondering if anyone has any idea of what it should cost?

    Tyres are 155\60 R14

I presume its an alloy wheel. If not it would be next to nothing.
Alloy price is impossible to know. Are they genuine seat alloys? If so you will get one at the dealer (at a price). If aftermarket, you might find it hard to get a wheel.

Thanks for the info. it is not an alloy. Just a standard wheel. Would just like a ball park figure so I don't get charged over the odds.

Well firstly the steel wheels can often be straightened but a new rim will be cheap depending on where you get it.
€20 is probably the right price for this as there would be hundreds of them around the country taken off new cars to be replaced with alloys. A dealer will see the chance to make a few quid so no idea what they might charge.
    Ring a breakers yard.
Im sure they are the same rim as many vw's
