Music showing up under album/song, but not under artist!

    The title says it all really! For example, "Appetite for Destruction' is on my ipod..... i can listen to it if I do a search through albums or songs.... however if I do a search under 'artists' the ablum won't be there.... has anybody had this problem before? i mean the album shows up fine on itunes too, so I really don't know what the problem is....

    all advice appreciated!

    Is the Album listed as appetite for destruction on all the individual songs?
    I had a problem where if I left the album area blank on a song, it didn't show up under artists.

    Yep.... like if I search for 'it's so easy' under "songs" and click on it, it will be under the album 'appetite for destruction'.

    Really confusing.....
