So im doing a fresh install of leopard.

Ive got my safari bookmarks and the best bits of my folders (music, photos etc) backed up to external HDD.

Is there anyway to backup my email from mail.app?
Just so that it wont spend forever rebuilding my mail.

And is there anything else I should remember?

Can I export my ftp info from filezilla, rather than rooting about for ftp address' and passwords.

    Thank guys.

    (home)/Library/Mail

I'd say if you make a backup of this folder, you could just drag it to its proper location in your new install - but then maybe it will still take time to rebuild etc

Also if you haven't already done so make a copy of the whole of your 'preferences' folder and you can use stuff from it as you go on.

Do a custom Leopard install and deselect all languages other than English, as well as all printer drivers that you dont need. You'll save a few GBs of space.

Also, you can do a Time Machine backup if you have one, so you don't have to remember to save anything.

On the mail issue, as well as /users/"username"/library/mail folder, you also need to copy a file, com.apple.mail.plist from /users/"username"/library/preferences This file is vital as it links with your mail folder, no rebuild of the mail would be required.
    Q.
