Couple of questions

Hi folks, I have a couple of questions about using a TFT screen with a laptop.

If I plug it into the laptop, how do I make it so some of the apps run on the laptop screen, and others run on the new screen? Is it even possible?

I like to watch football online, and it would be handy to have the match playing on the tft, off to the side, while I can continue working on the main laptop screen.

Also, is there such thing as a Scart to Serial cable, so I can watch DVD's on the tft?

Right-click on the desktop and select properties. Choose "Extend the desktop to this monitor" and apply. When you move your mouse to the edge of one screen, it should appear at the edge of the other. You can then drag Windows and stuff onto the second screen.

Not sure what you mean. Do you want to output the DVD playing on the laptop onto the TFT? Or are you talking about a DVD player that would normally sit under the TV?
