Last Nov I placed my car for sale on carzone. This guy emailed me for more details etc. I sent him photos etc. I then became aware it was a scam.

But now this guy is using my photos to advertise my car on the internet through various websites. He is also using my name to set up email addresses. I have reported to the websites and they are taking them down

But my question is...how do I report him to the interent Gods and have him tracked down and banned? No matter how pointless it may be I want to do something.

He uses google mail but I cant find a way to contact them.

    Any suggestions appreciated.

Doesn't sound like he's breaking any laws.
Selling a car using your pictures probably violates the rules on the car websites, and signing up for email accounts using your name may be just coincidence, you don't own a patent on your name.

I am not claiming a patent(sic)..trade mark rights.

I have the emails I sent him (him using one address and name) with the photos as attachments.

He then sets up another email account using my full name (as per the car documents) and posts the photos I sent him. Its quiet clear cut. Hell even the same car number plates are showing..

He also cuts and pastes the exact same description that I typed for his description. His price for the car is 20k less than mine.

Mate...it is not a coincidence and I am not the only one it has happened to unfortunately.

I just want to report it to google/yahoo etc. Does anyone know the contact details?
