No in the context of the 1000 mile challenge but the last couple of springs I've been doing ultramarathons. I don't like cycling in the winter because of the crappy road surfaces (ice and grit) so I tend to run more in winter so I tend to enter spring running races. I'm still managing to swim 12-15 km a week and the odd turbo session but I would want to get back on my bike soon to get fit for the summer.

when I get out in the morning in the evening I'll jump on the excercise bike for half an hr, I usually get 22km (23 is my record!!) I don't know if that is good for the time or not... I put the bike in it's lowest gear and get them legs turning and heart pumping....
Just dont fancy banging on the road too much.. The challange is 1000 miles in a year not 3 months....
