I just noticed the other day that the Time Capsule lost all my backups and started doing a new one which took nearly 36 hours.

Has this ever happened to anyone else before?

Any chance it filled up or you changed your computer's name? Though neither of those should do it.

Ni, I didn't change anything. It seems that all my backups were corrupt. I had to wipe the drive and start again. It's working fine.

    Slightly worrying though.

Thats abit worrying alright, how long have you been running it?

    Any recent power cuts/surges etc?

since July last year. No power cuts. I've checked some other mac forums and there does seem to be the odd problem with it.
