I have Sky+ HD but don't have the remote record option in the Products listing under Sky Active.

Does anyone know if you need a phone line for this?

You only need the phone line to set it up initially. You connect up the box to the line, press interactive on your remote and follow the menus into setting up Remote Record.

You need to create a Sky Anytime username/password, which you can also do online - https://mysky.sky.com/portal/site/skycom/mysky

Once its all set up, you no longer need the phoneline. Your remote record requests are sent to your box over the air! Its a very handy feature.

Ah, thanks JoeA3. I think I might have to get one of those NTL phones as I don't have a landline.

    Cheers!
