I can't seem to narrow down my interests enough to pick a course! And the deadline is looming!
I've it down to a couple of places including DKIT and St Pat's so I'm wondering what St Pat's or DKIT is like for mature students?
Would be great to hear from anyone who has been to either college or knows anyone who has.

    Hi fifomania,

I go to DKIT and technically I'm a mature student all though I wouldn't say I am :D

The college itself has plenty of mature students, in my class in particular there was 3 mature students and they integrated very well, its just part and parcel of dundalk college life.

The college has a mature students society which is very very good, they meet up weekly or bi weekly to discuss any issues and to plan events such as evening dinners or nights out for mature students.

i'm not sure what else to add but I've lots of experience with all aspects of the college and will be willing to answer any questions you may have so fire away
