Getting Air Macbook for travelling. Swap for macbook?

Hi guys. I bought a macbook in August and I'm going travelling to South America in mid-march. I want to bring my macness with me so I was thinking of trying to find someone I could swap my macbook with for a couple of months or buying one outright for really cheap (a refurbished one possibly). Any tips.

I customized my macbook to be a bit more powerful so could be useful for someone who wants a bit more oomph for a while.

Alternatively, if I got one of the mini-laptops, would it be easy enough to put itunes, quicktime, imovie and sync my iphone without messing it up since it's already married to my macbook???

Any advice would be very welcome and appreciated.

Unless it's someone you know, you're not going to find someone to trade a macbook with. Personally i'd spend ~350 on a netbook for travelling. Cheap, powerful enough for your needs, and if it gets wrecked, its not a huge loss.
