Who makes the decisions in your home?

This just popped into my head this morning over breakfast. I have to make all the decisions at home.

For example:

Where and when to go on holidays
Where we're going out to eat
Where and when we're going to the cinema
Which car we bought
Which type of mortgage we got

I could go on all day.

Whenever I tell the O/H that she has to decide she gets all panicked and frustrated! Whenever I ask what she wants to do - (say, for dinner/cinema/going out) - all I usually get is "I don't mind, whatever you wanna do..."

It can be annoying at times!

Just wondering what everyone else's lives are like in this respect....

Actually I make a lot more, probably just laziness on her part though.

I still live at home with the folks so all the important stuff is left up to them

Im pretty easy going. Both kinda make choices, but all the funtional stuff to do with running a house bores the shyte out of me. So I have fock all to do with it.

But there will no bloodshed so long as I do the car picking.

Going out etc. Couldnt care less, unless the place is filthy / full of AJH's.

Apologies for that, but I suppose joint decisions could be classed as 'other'

Himself takes a backseat most the time on everything (i'm naturally a take charge person) but when he speaks up his input is valued (sometimes)

Pighead doesn't like to make big decisions as the pressure of getting it wrong is just too much. The major decisions like, what to have for breakfast and what clothes to wear, are usually sorted out by sticking up the question in After Hours with an accompanying poll.

I make the decisions, when she tries I let her know who's boss. Only men can make correct decisions.
