If you're anywhere in Dublin 15, there's a Renault Dealer in Coolmine. Blanchardstown Renault. That's the first place which somes to mind.

    Hi Sam,

I have no experience of Northside dealers but have found Renault Sandyford to be very professional, 2 services with them and warranty work. Renault dealers are not cheap but you will be in good hands with them.

    Good luck.

Correct on the first point, but not so sure about the 2nd. As with any garage, it'll be a lot of hit and miss, depending on where you go.

In the one and only Renault service I got on my Laguna, they managed to leave the engine with no oil in it (or below the bottom of the dip stick), even though I had a receipt showing 5L of oil went in. When I went back to complain, I got nothing by guff off them and they managed to break the dip stick when re-checking the level. Not very professional at all.

I recommend Advance Pitstop. They didn't even charge me for fixing a hinge on the door one time.

Sorry, I specifically meant Renault Sandyford, not all Renault dealers.

Hi Guys, Thanks for the replies. I'm living in Whitehall, but I wouldn't mind travelling to get a decent job for a reasonable price. I usually do the oil and plugs myself. However, I think I need new break pads and I will be needing to get my timing belt changed as I've gone over 70k miles, so I will be expecting this to be an expensive job. :(:( Sam

Phone a few dealers and get a quote for the work, then go to Renault Sandyford with the best price, I ma sure they will match it.
