I have a problem when trying to enable Media Sharing on Vista Home Premium.

The box is greyed out and there is no way that I can enable it. Anyone have any ideas on how to change this? I have included a screen shot showing what it looks like.

why is you network set to pubic

close the box in the pic, and click customize on the right, and set your network to private - assuming you are on your home / secured wireless network.

I normally share my media library to xbox etc then from media player.

    plenty of other ways too.

but the network setting should be shanged here.

No idea why it was public. It is the way I found it. Thanks for your help.
