Hey do not bash it.I used to play AFL10N until management decided my talent was wasted playing in that lower league.:P Now I am playing AFL7 but even still, from time to time you get to see the little mistakes that you see in the lower leagues ie kicking the ball to the opposition without any valid reason when a run isn't on.

In all seriousness, don't worry about the standard of football. Its the enjoyment you get from playing the game that counts. The standard is what YOU make it.If all players go out and concentrate on playing good, fair football then the standard is still good.

I went out to Balbriggan to watch the AFL12 final. The standard was excellent and I really enjoyed the game. One of and probably the best club games I saw at that level. You swear it was an AFL3 or AFL4 match.

Its strange actually anthing between AFL 7-12 is really up in the air. We play AFL 11 south I think and when we have our full squad we are easily at AFL 5-7 standard ... We played a challenge match against an AFL 3 team last yeat and kept up with them till about 10 mins to go.

having said that Im sure we were hockeyed by a an AFL12 team in some cup or something... Doesnt seem to be much rhyme or reason to divisional placings some times.

lower AFL teams tend to have smaller squads, train a bit less and are not as comitted as the could be ... which suits my lifestyle to be honest
