I bought a present of a Nano iPod for someone at Xmas and one week later it landed down the loo!!!!Unfortunaterly I threw out the receipt and can't send it back without the receipt. Does anyone know is there anywhere around the country where it could be fixed at a reasonable price? Funds are a bit low at the moment. Would appreciate any help phone numbers etc. Cheers:(

The state aren't going to fix your iPod for you. Having said that maybe Apple in Cork would be useful to you. There is a lot of companies in the UK that will repair iPods, it might be cheaper to post it there given the value of sterling and the size of the nano than get it fixed here.

    edit: googled, found this

    never used them

Also with water damage it would usually cost more to
repair than replace. & cannot get parts for the newe nano. This is a message from ipodrepairs. I'm out of luck, but was worth a try. Thanks for your help anyway.
