    Folks,
Has anyone done the h.dip for secondary teaching in the UK? Are most diploma's recongnised by the teaching council and does anyone know if the council is affiliated with any colleges in the UK?
Can anyone recommend a college for business teaching?
There's such a huge choice of colleges over there that it's hard to know where to start....

    Thanks
    Alan

Make sure to do your research first. Is your primary degree recognised by the Teaching Council?

AFAIK the teaching council isn't affiliated with any colleges. It just says yay or nay to your qualifications. There are hundreds of teachers with the PGCE teaching in Irish schools and recognised by the council.

I'd imagine that geography would be your starting point - London, Liverpool? Contact the individual colleges, they should know.
