Advice re injury??!

Have an injury to my right calf.
Picked it up just prior to the marathon (Dublin) last year, but it seemed to disappear during November and the beginning of December, only for it to re-appear just before Christmas.
It's a muscular thing and it's becoming increasingly painful to run on.
Have been receiving physio treatment for a couple of weeks now, but if anything the problem seems to getting worse (essentially, bar the ultra-sound, there's nothing the physio is doing that I can't do myself at home, massage/rubbing etc).
My pre-run stretching hasn't always been the best but has improved and this may be where the problem stemmed from? Physio says I had one leg slightly longer than the other (she has remedied that) and that constant running the same direction on the road can cause problems with the camber.
She hasn't prescribed resting for a given period - hence I am trying to train as best I can but am becoming increasingly frustrated.
Any advice, however small, would be welcome.

You could change physio! Not knowing your particular situation, but a good physio wouldn't give up on it that easily (and I'm suspicious of physios who use ultrasound above hands-on therapy). Plenty of other routes they could try.

Any advice you get on here will be speculation. I'd recommend doing as Peckham suggests and seeing either another physio or a good sports doctor.
