Anyone Want to buy a Langster?

Sticking this here as a gauge of interest/chance for someone to get a deal before I go to adverts...

With the build of the Mercian, and my growing desire for a MTB, my Langster has to make way. It's about 5 months old (purchased beginning of October I think), 56cm and in pretty good condition (yes, it needs a clean, but that's cos it was my every day commuter)

It's got Conti GP4000's (Black Chili) on it, and at the moment has bullhorns and front brake only (am willing to put original bars and the rear brake back on if you want). Gear ratio is 42/15.

Am looking for 300 euro bucks (a bargin I think!)

    Anyone fancy it?

They are very good tyres, £60 a pair on their own. I would buy the bike myself only it is too small for me.

...says the man with a Surly Big Dummy and a Dahon Smooth Hound, not exactly the most mainstream of bicycles. (I test rode the latter one before you bought it, and decided "I didn't need it :D) What are you planning on using for sportives BTW (you selling the Crosscheck?)

Not proper roadie bling! Would barely cover a proper carbon bottle cage :)

Surely you don't need another fixie though. At least my bikes have their own purpose :D

Crosscheck is still here and I reckon I might keep it now. I might try and do the ROK on the Big Dummy though.

Blorg buys all teh bikez on teh internetz so no one else can have them. I suspect he has at least 4 others that he's not telling us about.

I know, I know, I did expect this, but it's worth asking.... good things come to those who ask!

My bikes all have their own purpose too! I only have two fixies and could see a use for at least three:

    - fixie commuter with rack and mudguards
    - light road fixie for long stuff like the Wicklow 200
    - track bike

As stated above I'm happy to swap out the saddle (which is a chopped Brooks B17) and bars for the standard saddle and bars that came with it

Hey - I am pretty interested in this, one question - would the back brake fit back on the bull horn or would that mean going back to drops?

    Cheers,

Yes, depending on what levers you wanted to run. I'll include a Dia Compe Gold Finger on the bike, and you'd have to get a second, left hand lever, but it would work fine. Any BMX or MTB style lever would work on it

Cool stuff - I'll PM you and we can see about arranging something.
