I believe this was a Circuit Court case.

Judge Reynolds handed down the sentence to the mother in the last few weeks, and as Tom says, she's a judge of the Circuit Court and this was dealt with in Roscommon. I don't know the name of the HC judge who dealt with the injunction...

Didn't the incidents happen before the current law was passed (2006). The old law was unconstitutional so she couldn't be charged under that.

I have experienced something similar in the family courts where the male abuser was supported by the Opus Dei boys and he walked free.

I really had to witness it to believe it.

I researched to find the truth lay in the amount of money the case created for all the lawyers, Barristers and Judges, and the longer the case went on for the better.

Then the play happy family therapy brings in more money for those involved.

I have witnessed one mother and children ordered home to obey an abusive father/husband- in order to keep the family together.

So, abuse being good for our souls and to toughen us up still exists in secret court- church circles.

Please explain how a case getting dragged out makes money for a judge? they get paid an annual salary they can hear 1000 cases in a year or 1 and get paid the same amount

The name cannot be made known so as to protect the identities of the children involved.
