I've got a ~8cm crack on the windscreen of my Polo and am looking for advice on getting it fixed/replaced. Does anyone know whether this can be repaired and where and if not, where is it possible to get a replacement fitted in the Dublin area? Any idea of cost?

    Thanks

    Rob

I think a crack the size of a €2 coin is the max that can be repaired, any bigger the window must be replaced. You should go through your insurance company, most policies now have windscreen cover included and it won't effect your no claims bonus.

Thanks for that. I figured I could get it sorted through insurance but am concerned about no claims bonus being lost. I'll give them a ring and post results here.

Anyone know where I could get the job done in Dublin?
