Always high standards in Senior boxing, no matter what year.
I remember several years back Billy Walsh was sitting at
ringside watching Irish amateur boxing and he said that the standard
was poor. He then entered the Seniors of that year or the following year and he was thoroughly whupped. I remember being quietly pleased. He thought it looked poor from his seat in the stadium. I always admired Billy; but his coments were inappropraite and unfounded and he found out the hard way!

Hopefully in a few years we'll be looking at a world champion or two in the class of 2008
