These lights came on this morning as I was arriving at work. Just throwing it out here for comments. Anyone know if it's likely to be serious? Is it likely to be a fluid I need or could we be looking at something more serious. I'll bring it in to be looked at tomorrow, but I've got a 200 km round trip this afternoon on mainly country roads and can do without the added "fun" of no traction control. Should I be taking the wife's car?

Could well be as simple as needing a new ABS sensor. The system is set up to disengage & switch on the warning light if any component fails, so it's impossible to say without diagnostics. I had an Audi with a front ABS sensor on the way out once - every time I used full right lock, the light would come on. If you're in Dublin you could bring it to AC Car Sales, they're a well-regarded BMW specialist. Sensors don't tend to be crazy money.
